About Me
MARKETING, INTERNET MARKETING & EMEDIA
During the course of the past 15 years, Rob Hendrickson has played a strategic role in creating and developing new product marketing strategy for some of the most successful companies in the world, including Sony, BlockBuster, XM Satellite Radio, Texas Industries, GameStop, Innovacyn animal health (Vetericyn) and the MosquitoNix franchise.
He currently pursues his interests to educate and motivate small and mid-sized business owners through coaching & consulting. Several businesses have found success through his one-on-one coaching techniques in the areas of Marketing, Sales, Advertising, Direct Marketing, Product Development and Internet Marketing.
However, to really get to know Rob, you have to loosen the corporate tie and put on a pair of well-worn, cowboy boots.
Rob Hendrickson grew up on a family cattle ranch in western South Dakota where they raised both cattle and registered Quarter horses.

Rob has been a rodeo participant since childhood and continued with the pathway through high school and college where he qualified for the National Collegiate Finals Rodeo. After graduation, Rob continued on in the professional ranks as a PRCA bareback rider.
“When I was growing up, I really didn’t know much about the business-side of life. I was creative but didn’t know you could make a living with such talents.” Says Rob, “Then I met a bull rider from Kansas, Dennis Anderson, who was a guitar player, designer, artist and poet. He told me that with my particular passions and talents there was potential for work in the marketing and advertising industry. It really opened my eyes. I followed Dennis to Hays where they have a really good design and marketing department”

After graduating with a degree in Marketing and Design, he moved to Denton, Texas where he began his professional business career.
He then moved to the Dallas / Fort Worth market working as an art/creative director, copywriter and eventually became a partner in an advertising agency, Access Creative in Fort Worth. Rob and his partner Sandra Johnson grew Access to a Top-10 agency in the DFW market.

Rob has worked with the CEOs of Fortune 500 companies developing marketing and Internet strategy.
Some of his higher profile projects are the marketing strategy and deployment of the first digital camcorder, the development of Home Theatre, the Mini-Disc and WebTV for SONY. XM Satellite’s business roll-out for Walmart and other big box retailers and GameStop’s intranet and eCommerce platform. In 2000 he re-engineered Blockbuster’s corporate training, recruiting and internal marketing programs and helped concept their national roll-out of the game store concept.
In 2006 he helped start a Search Engine Marketing company that provided Pay-Per-Click management services to small and medium sized businesses. This experience gave him insight into the complexities of SEM programs and their ability to drive valuable traffic to websites. More importantly, it was a great testing platform for learning cutting edge “conversion” tactics that he continues to use today.
Rob worked with a new start-up pharmaceutical company called Innovacyn where he directed their national media marketing programs for Vetericyn, an animal wound care product that hit the market with great success.
He also helped launch Horse Advertising Network.com, the equine industries’ first online ad network.
Over the years, Rob has spoken on a variety of strategic marketing, branding, social media and Internet related topics to several business associations and groups.
Rob currently resides on acreage outside of Godley, Texas, with his wife Jodi and daughters Ollie and Scout.
